Cornellskop offers a variety of different encounters and experiences for our guests. Every encounter is animal-led and professionally guided, offering you the most authentic experience possible.

Experiences at Cornellskop

Whether you're joining us for a guided encounter, a private group experience, or one of our specialised offerings, every visit to Cornellskop is built around respect for the animals and the environment they call home.

All experiences are guided by our team and take place within a structured, controlled setting. Because the wellbeing of our animals comes first, encounters may vary depending on the animals' behaviour and comfort on the day.

A More Personal Experience

The Private Walking Tour includes the same guided experience as our standard Walking Tour, but is reserved exclusively for your group.

Ideal for families, friends, photographers, and small groups, this option allows you to enjoy the experience without sharing the tour with other visitors while still benefiting from the same educational and animal-led approach.

Please note: Access to the cheetah enclosure is restricted to guests aged 10 years and older who are at least 1.4 metres tall.

Private Game Drive Experience

This experience combines our Walking Tour with a private game drive through the upper reaches of the farm in an original Land Rover.

After your guided encounter, you'll head into the quieter areas of the property to experience the landscape at sunset while enjoying light snacks and a glass of bubbles. The drive concludes with the evening feeding of selected animals, including zebra, giraffe, gemsbok, and ostrich.

This is a relaxed, unhurried experience that offers a different perspective of the farm and its wildlife.

Please note: This is a seasonal option that we usually only run during the warmer months.

Our Walking Tour offers a guided introduction to the animals and daily life at Cornellskop. Led by our experienced team, you'll learn about the animals' histories, personalities, behaviours, and the care that goes into managing a working animal sanctuary.

Depending on the animals and conditions on the day, guests may have the opportunity to enter selected enclosures under supervision, while other species are viewed from designated areas for safety and welfare reasons.
